We are seeking two Senior Policy Advisors to work closely with a talented and committed team in a key government agency.  We are looking to provide our client with one fixed-term Policy professional until August 2026, and also a permanent position. 

Specifically, we are looking for two policy professionals with relevant experience engaging with senior stakeholders to prepare briefings, key documents, and responses for Ministers and other senior government officials.  
  
These roles require a natural ability to take complex information and make it relevant, clear and concise so that it can be easily understood by a broad range of audiences.  Also important for this role is the ability to quickly establish and build strong and trusted relationships within the team and with key external stakeholders. 
  
To be successful in this role, we are seeking two policy professionals with exceptional writing skills, who have a natural analytical way of working, seeking to ask questions to understand essential information and a desire to contribute to the sector in a valuable, responsible and positive way.
  
As an experienced policy professional, you must bring the following experience:

• Working on legislative strategic pieces of work
• Strong understanding of legislative processes and amending legislation
• Demonstrable understanding of the machinery of government and public policy, such as the Parliamentary Council Office as well as Cabinet Papers
