We are seeking two Principal Policy Advisors on an immediate contract basis to work closely with a talented and committed team in a key government agency. Specifically, we are looking for two experienced policy professionals with deep legislative experience and strong policy and legislative writing capability to draft important briefings and legislative amendments.
  
This role requires a natural ability to take complex information and make it relevant, clear and concise so that a broad range of audiences can easily understand it.  Also important for this role is the ability to quickly establish and build strong and trusted relationships within the team and with key external stakeholders. 
 
As an experienced Principal Policy Advisor, you must bring the following experience:

• Experience in government policy and proven success drafting and leading legislative processes and amendments
• Excellent policy and legislative writing skills
• Strong understanding of the machinery of government and public policy, including the Parliamentary Council Office, Cabinet and Select Committee processes.
