Likemind is thrilled to be working with a number of government organisations looking for Senior Procurement advisors to lift capability and procurement understanding with stakeholders across organisations.

It is essential that you understand government procurement, as you will be involved in critical communications, such as Ministerials, Official Information Act requests and Parliamentary Questions.

In addition, you will bring the following skills and capabilities:

• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of internal and external contacts
• An self starting attitude, enthusiasm and passion for procurement and shaping how it can positively benefit and support organisational outcomes
• Knowledge and experience in the techniques of procurement and application of current best practice
• Strong written and oral communication skills particularly with regard to RFx and supplier communication.
